Do you think a very big TV is a status symbol? I have seen people going for the biggest size available. Sadly, the content for such TVs are very lean.

Not really. Overall TVs even 70 inches can be had fairly cheap at times and the average person's ability to glance at a TV and see an OLED vs a LED is pretty limited.

When it comes around 2030 to 2045 people neglect these big TV's and they go for latest telivision. It doesnot matter in size, but they are buying what is available in market and it will be serviceable.

I would say yes several years ago. I believe TV size did matter and would indicate someone with wealth. Nowadays, that's not the case. You can find really nice large TVs for a couple hundred dollars, specifically on Black Friday or any huge sale event. I think TV's are getting less common these days as well. Sure families will have a TV in their living room, but many years ago, I think it was more common to have many TVs throughout the house and in every bedroom.
I have a TV and I can't remember the last time I watched something on it. I usually watch movies/shows on my laptop or desktop

Personally, I don't need a very big TV at all. My current TV is 32" and I'm good with that

I don't think it's a status symbol. People like having big TVs and surround sound. My TV is 55".

It can be as I've seen some that are very expensive to get. However depending on your room you would need a huge tv if you tend to sit far away. I would never get a TV bigger than my room, even if I wanted to.

Most people do not know that viewing distance plays a big role in selecting the screen size.
